That's from Mediamass, they post stuff like this all the time. It's some kind of satirical project.

May be a byproduct of experimental "smart software" that customized it's self with repeated use but actually is about trawling for money off of someone else's industry and in this particular case Izzy's popularity. Izzy is incredibly popular in spite of his intentions. The IZ thread in Appetite for Discussion is nearly empty but the number of visits by guests to the site is through the roof compared to the others' threads with more content. Lots of searches are regularly done for any info on Izzy - we've all done it.
I now find pop up advertising within sites I visit - like this one - tailored to recent internet searches and sites visited on this computer. It is noticeable because there are three of us using it outside of work on different days. It keeps the "smart software" a little bit schizophrenic.
It may be that the real attraction to using and helping to maintain the integrity of Wikipedia is that eventually the content gets monitored and reports investigated.... lame ass and downright false content gets removed.

Try changing the URL eg:- en.mediamass.net/people/axl-rose/deathhoax.htmlen.mediamass.net/people/slash/deathhoax.htmlen.mediamass.net/people/rihanna/deathhoax.htmlThe website just writes an article and feeds celebrity names into the exact same article. I'm guessing the intent is to go viral and get advertising money. Any article on their website can be changed to include any celebrity name just by editing the URL. Eg, the "news" about Izzys dog recovering from surgery (http://en.mediamass.net/people/izzy-stradlin/dogrecovery.html) is exactly the same as Axls dog recovering from surgery (http://en.mediamass.net/people/axl-rose/dogrecovery.html) Quite a clever idea for a website, though the death hoax article is kinda disturbing.

Then with these type of generic sites popping up the Internet will become completely useless unless you know exactly what you are looking for and where you can find it. Who would have thought that they might eventually break the Internet.
