I saw your post this morning - I had never heard of issuu.com but I opened the link to see that it was an online magazine format and it seemed to work more smoothly than others I have tried to read on a computer. As I am at work I couldn't look though the online book until now that it is after closing. I've known about Robert Johns GNR Photohistory book but I don't own it. So many of the photographs were very familiar but I hadn't read the forward by Axl before tonight.
Coincidentally, today I learned of an importer here in U.S. of Italian natural fiber textiles new to my region and I looked up her site to find a fabulous wholesale supply catalog also in issuu.com that was very beautifully and professionally laid out. Today I have learned of issuu.com and looked through two different kinds of publications in this format. I like it very much.
I have been asked to write replacement text this week for for a very outdated website and am going to send a link to issuu.com to the I.T. doyenne along with the new text and new photos.
Thank you for sharing this kuestenkind - I think you have started a ripple effect for me here.
