At about minute 55 in his interview with Marc Maron, Tommy Stinson talks a little about Izzy Stradlin--including, "You should check out his new record."

I'm not sure if Stinson heard a couple songs from Izzy and assumes there's a new record or if he knows of a new record.

I've never heard of Marc Maron's podcast before but I'm getting to like the format.

Later... I have listened to it all, Tommy is a great interview. The intro didn't give the date of the interview but I am guessing it was recorded early February at the time of the Soho gig even though it was uploaded recently. Tommy references having heard a few songs from Izzy he calls an EP including a little video of the guys in the studio - must be Baby Rann. Agree with you Mark in wondering about more Izzy songs coming - seems Tommy may have heard more than Baby Rann extended version and Upside.

Also, I enjoyed the way Marc Maron referred to playing bass guitar as "holding the backbone".
